Chairman, Investment Strategy Committee/Senior Portfolio Manager
Spearheaded Investment Strategy Committee (ISC), developing company’s position on strength and direction of US economy and interest rates by monitoring economic data releases and news. Led weekly meetings of ISC to discuss conclusions/insights. Managed team of nine portfolio managers, assigning each an area of responsibility including equity and fixed income research, client servicing obligations, and new business activities. Mentored portfolio managers, sharing knowledge of investment business and decision-making process. Maintained strong relationships with key clients, visiting larger clients on regular basis and writing quarterly newsletter.
